Saskatchewan Canada Fishing License:
Angling Licenses are available at SERM department offices and authorized license vendors across the province.
Anglers must carry their licences with them while angling, and must produce the licence upon request by a conservation officer or RCMP officer.
Angling licences are required by all anglers age 16 and over. Anglers under the age of 16 do not require a licence to fish and may legally take their own limit of fish, but only if they catch the fish themselves.
Indians, as required under section 12 of the Natural Resource Transfer Agreement, do not require a licence when subsistence fishing.
Licence agreements are in place on Athapapuskow and Cold Lakes.
Saskatchewan angling licences are not valid in National Parks

Northwest Territories Canada Fishing License
A Sport Fishing Licence is required by everyone except:
- NWT and Canadian residents under the age of 16, or 65 years of age and over, unless fishing in an area that requires an additional validation.
- Non-resident anglers under the age of 16 who are accompanied by a person holding a valid sport fishing license, unless they are fishing in an area that requires an additional validation.
